Congratulations to the Summit Hill Junior High music students who were selected to perform in this year's Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) Honor Ensembles! These students were selected out of hundreds of auditioners and will rehearse and perform with highly distinguished conductors.
The Spartans selected include Lenna Augustynek-Gutierrez, Elijah Drozd and Nathanyl Lopez in Band; Nathanyl Lopez in Jazz Band; Julianne Augle, Norah Brown, Maggie O’Donnell and Rachel Washburn in Chorus; and Kenny Biernacki, Elliana Jordan and Nifemi Suleiman in Orchestra.
