This document outlines legal definitions, operating policies, school board procedures and responsibilities, and other legal information. This manual may be changed at any time at the sole discretion of the Board and/or the Superintendent, whichever has appropriate jurisdiction, subject only to mandatory collective bargaining requirements.
Mandated Pest Management
Structural and landscape pests can pose significant hazards to people, property and the environment. Pesticides can also pose hazards to people, property, and the environment. It is therefore the policy of Summit Hill School District 161 to incorporate Integrated Pest Management (IPM) procedures for control of pests and to give notification of any pesticide application deemed necessary.
