I am the school social worker at Frankfort Square School. This is my 14th year at Frankfort Square and 14th year in the district. My role as the school social worker is to assist in meeting the social and emotional needs of students in order for them to be educationally successful. I meet with students individually or in a group setting, addressing a variety of topics including social skills, self-esteem, coping skills, self-awareness, and numerous others. I work collaboratively with caregivers and school staff members to address any social, emotional, and behavioral concerns. I also provide resource lists to families that are looking for additional support/services outside of the school setting.

Hello Parents/Guardians!
If your child currently receives social work as part of an IEP or 504 Plan, he or she will be added to a social work "group" in Schoology. With being back to full in person, social work services will occur at Frankfort Square School unless a child is quarantined. Students will participate in social work services in a small group setting in my social work office; if a student is quarantined, they will have the opportunity to participate in virtual check-ins through Zoom.
