Mrs. Kristy Balta - 1st  (Send e-mail) Balta’s Bulletin December 5, 2008 Reading-Next week we will be reading the story Tomas Rivera. The skills for next week include the diagraphs /qu/ and /wh/, proper nouns, sequencing events, and describing a character. Math-We are working on fractions in math. Next week we will also be talking about probability. Our test over chapter 9 will be on Friday, December 12th. Science-We will be discussing animals and their habitats. Next week we will learn about forest and desert animal homes. Holiday Program-Our program is on Friday, December 12th. I hope you can make it. There are two performances. Please refer to the note that previously went home. Field Trip-We will be taking our field trip to Rialto Square Theatre on Dec. 10th. I am sure that we will have a great time! Have a great weekend!
