Thank you for coming to Open House this week. I am also looking forward to seeing the sixth grade parents next Tuesday. Fifth graders are doing a great job making the transition from their elementary buildings. They are an eager group of students! Overall, spelling tests were good, but based on the last assignment, some reteaching in grammar needs to be done. Our first novel will begin next week. Remember to start the Frindle scavenger hunt. Sixth grade has been doing a fantastic job incorporating the writing techniques I taught them last year. I was extremely proud of their application of skills and their ability to discuss higher level thinking skills. Keep it up Walker Wildcats!
