This week in Reading: Our story for the week is “From Seed to Plant” by Gail Gibbons. Our focus skill is reading diagrams. The vocabulary words for the week are: beautiful, nutrition protects, ripens, streams.
Reading test will be on Friday.
This week in Spelling:

This week in Math: We will be testing Chapter 5 on place value on Monday. We will start Chapter 6 on Number Concepts and Patterns. Also, this week we will continue timed tests for addition. Please be practicing addition and subtraction facts every night.
This week in Science: We are finishing chapter 3 about plants. We will be focusing on a plant’s parts and how they help them live and grow. Chapter 3 test will be on Friday, November 21, 2008. A study guide will come home on Thursday.
