Mrs. Jennifer Mazur - Social Worker  (Send e-mail) Social Work Newsletter Week of November 17 - November 21 ******************************* As the school social worker I spend time with children needing assistance with developing friendships, social skills, coping skills, divorce groups, etc. If you have any social, emotional or behavioral concerns about your child and feel he/she would benefit from social work services please contact me. ******************************* The Character Education theme for the month of November is "Goal Setting". I will be spending time in your child's classroom doing a lesson related to this theme. I will be starting a Peer Mediation Program for 3rd and 4th grade students. I will be going around to each of these classrooms and explaining peer mediation and how it works. The students, teachers and I will be working together to select 4th grade students as peer mediators. Please ask your child about this program if you feel he/she may be interested.
