4th Grade Teacher Ms. Melissa Farrell - Gr. 4  (Send e-mail) Please be advised that this is a tentative schedule for the week. Please check your child’s assignment notebook for day to day changes in the schedule. *Please don't forget about the Charles Tillman Locker Program. This month is a clothing drive. Examples of donated items are:hats, scarves,gloves,jackets,sweaters, and pants. Thank you to those who have donated! Your generosity is greatly appreciated! *For the month of November students need to read 425 minutes for Book It and he/she will reveive a Pizza Hut Certificate. November Book It is due Monday, December 1,2008. Reading We will finish our novel study of “From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler” by E.L. Koningsburg this week. We will be having a novel exam later in the week. Reading Vouchers will be due on Friday. Make sure that you are reading 15 minutes every night! ABC notebook: Letter G Language Term: Glossary Language We will begin our unit on verbs. The students should be studying their states and capitals in the NE Region because there will be a region test on Friday. Also, we might have our chapter 4 test this week. Science We will finish our unit on the states of matter. If we do not test this week, we will have our chapter test early next week.
