Kim Coughlin - Band  (Send e-mail) Welcome to the Summit Hill Junior High Band program! We anticipate having over 120 students enrolled in band for this coming year! Our band students will have the opportunity to participate in marching band, concert band, symphonic band, jazz ensemble and percussion ensemble. We will also participate in several festivals and competitions and present several concerts throughout the year, as well as our second musical revue. Each student will also have one small group lesson once a week. New students to our district (who have previous instrumental music experience) are invited to join us! This week in class Monday Symphonic Band before school. Percussion III (2:30-3:30), II (3:35-4:40) and I (7:00-8:00 pm) Tuesday Symphonic Band before school. Pep Band to report by 3:40 for a 4:00 game. Wednesday Symphonic band before school. Rehearsal for Concert Band after school until the activity bus (approximately 3:35). Thursday Symphonic band before school. Rehearsal for Concert after school until the activity bus (approximately 3:35). Band Booster meeting at 5:00 at SHJH. Friday Rehearsal for Symphonic band from 7:05-7:42 am.
