Nicole Dunnill - Spanish 8th  (Send e-mail)

High School Level Spanish 1
The goal of the Spanish 1 course is to help students build literacy skills in Spanish, using the Expresate Series (also being used at Lincoln-Way High School), so that students may place into Spanish II in high school. This year we will start by reviewing the first half of the text and then focusing our studies on the second half (Chapters 6-10). Students will also be studying a great deal about the culture, history, and geography, and the arts of the Spanish-speaking world.

Middle School Level Spanish
The goal of the middle school Spanish course is also to help students build basic literacy skills in Spanish, using the Como Te Va Series. Upon successful completion, students in middle school Spanish may also place into Spanish II in high school. Units 1-6 of Book B are completed in eighth grade. Students will also be studying a great deal about the culture, history, geography, and the arts of the Spanish-speaking world.
