Principal's Comments:Welcome to Frankfort Square School,
We’re really excited about the coming school year. The school has been cleaned, books have arrived, and teachers are getting their classrooms ready. School will begin on Thursday, August 19th with a half day. The doors open at 8:40 and the tardy bell rings at 8:50. Dismissal on Thursday will be at noon. Friday will be a full day of school, from 8:50 to 3:20.
Orientation for all new students will be on Wednesday, August 11th at 11:00. We’ll begin with a brief presentation in the lunchroom, then parents and children may walk through the school to become familiar with the building. You are welcome to bring your school supplies on that day to alleviate all that you have to carry on the first day of school. Please make sure that your supplies have the student’s name on them. The teachers may not necessarily be in their classrooms, but the rooms will be open.
Returning students are welcome to bring their school supplies and visit their rooms on August 11th from 12:00 to 1:00. There will be no presentation, but the building will be open for you to find your classroom and I will be available to answer any questions.
In looking ahead, Open House will be on Wednesday, September 1, from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m.
